Well, last night we made Washington. Well, Fairfax, sort of. Route 66 close to the Capitol, which is close enough for our estimates, anyway. It was a gorgeous day all day–good for driving, with light traffic and no major incidents. The transit strike was averted for now, too, which I think means that Ill be able to get home later tonight or tomorrow morning, which rules.
Other than those two travel-related issues, nothing much is really on the table at the moment. Im using Kristins computer to update here and were getting ready to leave in the not-too-distant future, which is good. Im off to go check the oil in the car.
