Well, Hello there!
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve updated, but I’m in Portland, home of my most faithful readers (my only readers?), Scott & Sharon. Last time I hollered on here, I was in NYC and in a video. Now, I’m not. The plane ride home was forced to land in Indianapolis because a guy had some medical emergency, so we did. It only added about an hour to our flight. Pretty weak.
After that, I was home long enough to re-arrange some work and then to do laundry, then I left again for a 14-hour drive up the I-5 to Portland. It was actually a pretty great drive. I mean, it was long and all, but still. Yesterday, we went out to the coast, which turns out to be quite a hike, but worth it. Astoria, Oregon isn’t anything like Astoria, Queens, that’s for sure. It is very pretty, in a weathered-by-the-sea-air kind of way. We had amazing weather, too. It’s like I’m a traveling high-pressure system. It is a little rainy today, which is cool with me. We’re probably going wine tasting in a little while. Sweet.
