Andrew defended his thesis today and is now (or after the submission of already-signed paperwork) a Doctor of the Very Small. Im awaiting the official title, so for now, thatll have to do. Congratulations, Drew!
Im home, and have learned that an insane sleep schedule and a lot of traveling coupled with an early bedtime beat jetlag pretty soundly. A long, boring Oscars ceremony on TV helps, as you can watch without using any energy. Ive been catching up all day today, doing bits and pieces of work and gobs of catch-up. I even installed a DVD-R thats been sitting here a month and cleaned up my desk. Woo to be me.
I owe a belated online happy birthday wish to Justin (for Saturday, when we sat around drinking beer in a Comfort Inn), as well as to Klee and Dani, both of whom were born a few years ago Sunday. Also, Lauren had a birthday during my trip, back on the 15th, so happy belated to her as well. Now that Im back, I might even manage to get a birthday greeting online on the right day for the next one. No promises, though – Im pretty lame.
Ive started doing pics and scraps org. from the trip, but am not at all ready with anything to show. Soon, though. Dont want to let trip photos get stale, right? There are even some really cool ones. Enough of this – back to organizing and making lists.
Congratulations again, Drew!
