My maternal grandmother passed away on Saturday afternoon. Shes always been a huge part of my life, even once I was grown and gone and didnt actually get to see her as much as Id like to. Shed been living with various maladies that were all increasing in intensity over the last few months, and while were not surprised, its not an easy thing to accept. I dont have anything eloquent or intelligent to say about it, but its just important to say it out loud and in print – Ill miss you, Nana.
Memorial services will be in about a month in Syracuse.
