Towards the beginning of quarantine (and before i knew just how canceled my entire life was going to be), I finally came to understand a truth about the office, and that is that no one will ever use it but me. Lauren used it a bit during her brief work-from-home stint, but that’s it, and with the exception of a couple of people a couple of times, no one has ever used it again.
So i decided to revamp.
So that’s the way the office used to look. Mostly. I took everything out of the office, but then brought some stuff back in to re-make them because it was easier to cut in place than move outdoors. The desk is 4″ narrower now to make it fit along the kitchen wall, so that’s nice, although I do notice the loss of desk space a bit.
Then i decided to paint. That was dumb, but I had paint and I have time, so that was that. The pictures tell the rest of the story, and maybe I’ll clean up the finished office a month later and add a picture at a later date. Woot!
