As Ive said to just about everyone whos asked, we survived the earthquake just fine, and it was the best kind of earthquake. Plenty big to feel it, to make things shake and rattle (and rumble! the sound was spectacular), but not big enough to cause damage or casualties that I heard about. Some car alarms apparently went off, but not near our house.
The only other thing of note is that Ive started working on my 5-monitor experience. Ill post a picture or two when Ive finished, but suffice it to say that its fun as hell. I would like a job for awhile where I design and build high-end, from-scratch custom rigs for people with about 50x more money than I have. Itd be fun.
