Man, yesterday was a big day for the Osgood family.
My brother was offered a job and was part of a successful hooding ceremony all within the span of about an hour. The ceremony went well, and fast, clocking in at just over an hour ovation-to-ovation. The job looks like a good one – hell be working for a company near DC, although well wait to announce which until after the paperwork is signed. Since hes heard from a couple of people already, though, its a foregone conclusion.
On a sadder note, my dads mother passed away yesterday. She was almost 91 and her time had come. Details are still pretty much nonexistent, but probably Ill be traveling to PA in the very near future. Were going to miss her.
Today is the actual graduation ceremony. It promises to be neither quick nor painless, as weve seen the sun already (its 8:05 here, and supposed to be cloudy) and were on the way to 90 and humid. Woo! At least I remembered my camera today. Of course, its sitting in the wet grass right now, but still.
Anyway, big day today for my brother the doctor. Its cheesy, but Im proud of him – Ive got a brother whos a doctor! Big things.
