Slashdot’s down. This is a bad sign – is the apocalypse coming? Anyway, I’ve never seen the site out like this – maybe there was a lightning strike inside the building or an earthquake or something. I’m going trolling for news to find out.
editors note:Turns out that I’m just not a big enough geek for my own good. The outage was planned and went exactly as it was intended to. I just panicked prematurely, as I am wont to do.
