Hey there. Quick, newsy update follows:

  • I moved into a single in the hostel (pics to follow in another update) yesterday and am no officially settling in. Its weird, but better to be where I am then where I was.
  • I have an interview at ICM on Tuesday. Theyre one of the top 3 talent agencies in LA, and working there would be a huge benefit to knowing tons of people, working with them, having them get to know me. Downside being that I dont want to be an agent, but if its a job and a good way to meet people and I think I can do the job, Im all over it. Well see what happens.
  • I went to Palm Springs yesterday. Cathy was there, and we met up and wandered around the town all day, then headed back here after a late-night drive through Joshua Tree National Park. It was something that Drew would have been very jealous of, because we just sort of took this tiny little windy road off into the distance, leaving everything resembling civilization behind. Some marines (who will remain un-named) were afraid of the sasquatch, but it was a pretty uneventful 50 miles or so, really.
  • Im courting a mysterious e-mailer for an interview on Wednesday. Thats a good thing. Now all I have to do is unpack. and find my decent clothing.

    Thats it for now. Im going to go grab a bag out of my trunk and take it in to hang up. From there, well head out to do some LA touring. La Brea Tar Pits, here I come (for the first time since Ive been here).
