I went up to the big department store this morning and learned that Americans’ predilection (sp?) for cheap electronics doesn’t translate to Spain. They had some point-n-shoot cameras, but nothing special, and I decided to go with a slightly more expensive camera (an hope not to lose it this time) because the low-end shutters were so overpriced that I couldn’t stand the idea of buying one. I overpaid a lot less for a Canon (what can I say, I’m loyal) EOS 300v or something like that.
Just FYI.
Now I’m off to lunch, then to Rome. I have no idea how I’m going to get to my hostel tonight at 11pm when I arrive (or really where my hostel even is…), but that’s what the trip is for, right? I mean, hey, at least I have a place to stay.
