So this is what it looks like to put a 21″ monitor on my pathetic little desk. Yeah. That’s pretty much what I thought, too. Anyway, not so hot. Hutch, useful as it is, has got to go. Don’t ask
where I’m putting everything yet – I’m just happy to be trying. The hutch is breaking down. Resistance is futile.
So are my attempts to pay attention to anything but the destruction of that which took so long to build. Did I mention the 21 inches? There’s about to be a lot more where that came from. Yeah.
From the back, you can better see the mess that I’m creating. Ignore that and look at the glorious 21 inches of screen. Now we’re at two monitors. The second is running my 4MB trident Image975 that was state-of-the-art in 1996. I have to tell you, I’m impressed with the fact that it’ll run 1600 x 1200 at all. And I have to say, its not all bad.
Three! Glorious three! (the other PCI card I’ve got, a 2MB Monster, wouldn’t work at all.) Don’t even get me started on the Mac Radeon7000 that’s sitting on the floor next to me. I could just yell all day about that one. But they’re working. Now its time to build an industrial-strength riser for my new pretties.

That’s all for now.
