- Should I do a photo a day? Probably, right?
- maybe write the occasional essay or something longer and more structured than a blog post with bullet points
- I'm definitely paying no more attention to celebrity news. That one's for sure.
- I'd like to eat better and work out more - cheesy, but always-legit resolutions.
- shoot more. If I had one resolution to keep in mind, it'd be this one. So easy to let the little parts of life interfere with this goal
- get back involved with the movie community
- keep in touch better, both with new people and old people - facebook, texts, calls, notes
- read more
- sleep less
- cook more
- waste less time dicking around on the internet
That's sort of a resolution list and sort of a musing list on things to keep in mind as the new year starts. If I could put "be smarter" on there, i would, but I'm trying for concrete things. The many "mores" on that list have to be offset with some of the "less" bullets, and even though there are fewer of them, I think that with even an hour less dicking around online a day, for example, I could accomplish things. Things like going to the gym can force the "no dicking around" rule, too, and once the spell is broken, it's easy to not get back online - witness the last few weeks and my total absense from the online world. Today, for example, I try to see off friends and family as they head out of town, and in between, I do a big old backup and update of everything that I can backup and update - webservers, phone, PCs, laptops... you name it.
Anyway, some foods for thought, anyway. Happy 2010.
